There is little you can do to repel spiders from entering your home, however, you can keep their numbers at bay by cleaning up the house so they have no where to hide. Vacuuming up cobwebs and egg sacs constantly to reduce populations. The best method is to reduce the other bugs in your house, effectively reducing their food supply.

Most spiders are attracted by a heat source. Using certain pesticides that target spiders can be used to repel and kill them.
