How can I get rid of spiders and spiderwebs in my houseplants?

I have some houseplants that develop spiderwebs. I remove them, and they just grow back. I look for the spider but can't seem to find it. Is there some other method for preventing the webs?

Mist plants frequently. Spiders like dry environments - misting will make them dislike the environment. Dusting plants or using leaf shine will also help eliminate the problem.

Check the undersides of the leaves. Move the plant to a less drafty location. And as a repellent, spray the plant with a mist of soapy water.

The best thing would be to mix a 1 cup of water, 8 tbs of lemon extract, and 2 tsps. of raid and mix together.

It sounds more like spider mites. Mix water and dishsoap and spray/mist your plant, being sure to get the undersides of the leaves. Rinsing is optional.
