If a DS is not turning on when the Power Button is pressed, the DS is most likely not charged. Insert the AC adapter to the DS and allow the unit to charge for a few hours. If the DS is still not turning on, the screen may have burned out and the unit may need to be repaired.

The Nintendo DS will not turn on because, Battery is dead, Switch is broken, or it has probably gotton wet at some point.

In most cases if you still have a warranty on your Ds you can go onthe Ds website and request a repair.
