The town of Walburg itself does not have a whole lot to do. It does have hotels, restaurants, theaters and other businesses, but the surrounding area has more available: family-friendly attractions, as well as historical sites. The town has a web site - you will want to look that up.

Great place to try authentic German food, as the community was founded by German immigrants. They also have an Oktoberfest every year.

You can go diving, visit a steam train museum, go on safari, check out the local beaches and some great Texas BBQ.
