My father gave me a gun and I would like to know what it is worth.

In good condition you might be able to get $300 to $400 for your Savage. I couldn't find any Savage model 710. Some research helped me find this is probably a 110.

Remington makes the 710, Savage does make a 110, both chambered in 30-06. New each would cost you around $400-500, used probably $250-300.
