The traffic sign test is a small test that is with the written test when you go to get your Learners permit. This is a fairly new test that a lot of states have started.

Its a test to see your knowledge of traffic signs and ability to read it and recognize it. Enabling you to qualify sucsesfully for a driving license. It is only a part of a bigger test that you need to complete in a certain alloted time to qualify for a license.
