Thaali is a symbol of marriage wearing by Indians. It's a thick thread dipped in turmeric water and wear with a traditional locket in neck by woman after marriage.

It looks like a chain made of a yellow thread, it has knots on it and gold pendants strung from it. This is tied around the bride's neck.
