Around 30 degrees celcius is a good temperature for a baby incubator. However, you will need to frequently montor the infant's body temperature by using a rectal thermometer. Adjust the temperature on the incubator higher or lower depending on the rectal thermometer reading. Infant temperature should be a little warmer than a normal adult.

The correct temperature for a baby incubator should be 24o C to 30o C, which is around 70-80o F. This is the recommended temperature because it is not too hot or too cold for the baby and it's around the same temperature as our body.

A normal temperature for the baby incubator is around 101 degrees. You will need to monitor the baby's temperature every fifteen to twenty minutes and adjust the incubator tempature.
