The child has to be five years old before they can enter kindergarten. It used to be that they would be 5 before the end of the school year, but now they must already be five.

The required age for Kindergarten varies from country to country. As per American Rules, a child can be put into kindergarten on attaining 5 year of age. But it is quite different in India and other Asian Countries where the kids are admitting in Kindergarten by 4th year of before based on their ability and brilliance.

It depends on what state you live in. Typical start age is 5, kids can go as early as 4. Your son will have to pass a test through the school, but remember, don't push too much. Sometimes waiting the year and letting them be the same size physically as other students is just as important. Especially for boys.

It depends on the state you live in. Some states, like California, currently don't require kids to enroll in kindergarten. Those that requires it usually sets age 5 as requirement.
