No there is no known connections, but if he has high cholesterol, the extra strain on his heart to have sex could cause him to not be as interested because of the discomfort. Either way lowering his cholesterol would be a good idea as either way it never hurt to improve ones health.

Most likely your husband has high blood pressure which has deminished his sex drive . There is no direct link between the two but normally if one condition is present so is the other.
