Although each airline can vary the requirements, the rule of thumb is 22"x14"x9", for a total of 45". This could also vary depending on the shape of the carry on item.

The best thing to do is check with the airlines. They are changing this information weekly. Last time the weight limit was 50 pds to check in and a small carry on. Now some airlines make you pay for all your luggage.

Each individual airline has different regualtions. Your best bet would be to either call or check the website of the airline you will be travelling with.

You will need to contact the airline that you're flying on next week. They are really cracking down on this so you're wise to check. Generally a small rolling suitcase is acceptable or a small duffel bag, most everything else gets checked.
