The red spot on your baby's foot may be ring worm. It could also be a wart or heat rash. Contact dermatitis and hand foot mouth disease are two other possibilities. There is also hives and something called Soxth Disease that it could also be. If you are unsure after researching, contact your child's physician.

Maybe his shoes were too tight or it could be a bite from an insect or something. If the spot is real red and stays that way for more than three days, I would take the baby on to the doctor to make sure it weren't no staph infection or something like that.

It really could be anything from maybe he stepped on a something to an reaction to something that he/she may have come in contact with. Your best bet is to contact your baby's doctor and have it checked out. Or you could watch it and see if it goes away on its own.
