What is the quality of an Ashton digital driver?

I personally would NOT recommend the Ashton digital driver. I have had and read a lot of error messages regarding the driver. Some are self explanatory, while some are extremely vague. Often there are 5 beeps given and then a total power down, without explanation. Things like this, which are unknown problems, make me want to stay away.

Quality may not be the real question. You may need that driver based on if you have an Ashton digital device installed. A generic might work just as well.
