What is the PreSonus Firepod mostly used for?

The firepod from what I can tell is used for recording high quality audio from up to 8 different analog inputs. The output is recorded by computer software. Seems to be mid range from reviews I read and seems to have excellent quality. I think use is mostly limited to the studio.

presonus firepod is mostly used for for recording sounds or music. It's used also as a tool to produce a music using a lot of music instruments. this is also used mostly by music lovers and musician.

It is used for a recording interface. It is a great tool for a producer of music with a bunch of instruments. It costs about four hundred dollars though.
