Over 13,000 marines, sailors, and soliders have ether had a page 13 put into there service records stating that they are a homosexual and will not engage homosexual activity or have been given an adminitrative discharge.

What is a \"page 13\" and how is it reconciled with the \"Don\'t ask, don\'t tell\" policy that prohibits asking and telling about homosexualism? What is the source of the \"over 13,000\" number and what period of time does it cover?  add a comment

100% of the homosexuals in the armed forces are affected by this policy. It is nearly impossible to determine how many homosexual soldiers there are because once they are discovered they are discharged from the military. The policy was introduced in 1993 and since that time more than 10,000 soldiers have received discharges due to their sexuality.
