What is the location of a knock sensor on a 22RE engine?

It is on the passenger side of the engine block. It is near the oil filter, and it is round in shape.

Knock sensor on a 22RE engine is located under a cover on the front of the engine behind the intake manifold on the right side, there are 2 sensors one on the top knock sensor, below the oil pressure sensor alarm.

You are going to locate the knock sensor on your 22RE engine on the left hand side of the motor. You are going to be able to find it under the valve cover. You are going to take the valve cover off and there will be 2 bolts holding the knock sensor on.

The knock sensor on your 22RE is located next to the fuel pump gauge. You'll have to get under the car and detatch the pump in order to change it.
