Most hamsters live a few years, however I think that a dwarf hamster would be more likely to live about as long as any other very small rodent, such as a mouse which has the life expectancy of two years.

From birth until death, a healthy dwarf hamster will live around 2 years. Some have been reported to have lived about 2 and a half years, but that is not normal. Keep the hamster provided with a supply of food rich in nutrients and a clean water supply and the little guy will live his long and healthy life.
