How long a surgical procedure takes depends on exactly what is to be done in the procedure. The surgeon can give you the best estimate for a particular condition, but always with the caveat that it may take longer should complications arise.

Depends on the surgery and the route. If the procedure is done using a cystocope, (a very thin tube that is placed into your urinary track into your bladder) the surgery could take an hour or less, consious sedation and be done at the bedside. Procedures that require an incision usually take longer because of the anesthesia.
