The leading cause of cancer in men is prostate cancer, and the leading cause of cancer in women continues to be breast cancer. However, on a whole, the leading type of cancer (and deaths) is actually lung cancer, which is second to each men and women, and smoking is the main reason.

Smoking is considered by most to be the leading cause of cancer. Some researchers are now linking our bad diets with the tendancy to get cancers.
