Music education teaches students to listen, to work with others, to practice, to be responsible to others, and to be an important part of a group. Music and math are interconnected, and students learn math from music and music from math. Music allows the soul to soar.

Music education is helpful to develop the mind and teach children about mathematics. Learning to play an instrument allows children the opportunity to learn hand/eye coordination, while singing or creating music fosters creativity and self-expression.
