A long time a go teachers used to be limited to just textbooks and a blackboard for educational instruction, but that has now changed as we have entered the digital age. Now students are using computers, digital projectors, electronic pens that transcribe notes and record a copy of their lecture as their taught it, and numerous other ingenious products.

Technology that supports education has existed since the invention of the computer. Initially, the computer was used as a repository for educational content, but as it developed greater interactive capability, the role of the computer became more active. Since the invention of the internet, which allows ultimate interactivity, the educational possibilities are endless.
