Disneyland opened its doors to the general public on July eighteenth nineteen fifty -five. The original theme park is located in Anaheim, California.

It started in about 1950 (possibly sooner, it was not long after WWII) with a man named walt disney who bought a large about of land with plans to create a theme park for the whole family to enjoy. He started construction but died before it was finished, his family lived in a secret apartment in Cinderella's castle.
