What is the German mark worth?

In 2002 Germany and several other European Country established a common currency - the Euro. One Euro is worth 1.95583 German Mark and at the moment (July 1st / 2010) $1.24. Therefore the exchange rate would be: $1 is worth 1.58 German mark

There is no german mark anymore. Since 2002 there is the euro as the offical money in Germany. There is also a big recession in Germany because many German banks did also invest in toxic papers. The exchance rate from Euro to Dollar is at the moment (07/2010) 1:1.29. The exchange rate for German mark to Euro was approx. 1.9:1
