Check the AKC website for recognized breeders. Never buy without visiting the kennel. Don't buy over the internet, but you can use the internet to connect with recognized breeders.

You can find numerous sites on the internet that offer blue German Shepherds. I would personally try to find a breeder that is local so you can go visit. I do not recommend buying puppies off the internet without being able to visit them first because you never know what you are going to get.

Beware buying a puppy simply for color. When a breeder breeds for color then temperament and health issues are often overlooked. Research a breeders list and ask for references.

This requires doing some research. There are many ways to find a good breeder in your area. And then always do a backround check on the breeder as well as make sure they have a vet. There are also shepherd rescues. Rescues often have purebred animals that were neglected but are great and healthy.

You best off going to a breeder. Be sure to research the breeder and ask to look at both parents and the facilities before committing. Don't go to a Pet Store. These places are often overrun with Puppy Mill dogs and they often come with diseases or problems.
