You calculate BMI by diving your weight in kilograms by your height in metres. Or you can divide your weight in pounds multiplied by 703 by your height in inches.

BMI stands for "body mass index." You can calculate it in metric by dividing your weight in kilograms by your height in meters squared. Alternatively, it is your weight in pounds divided by your height in inches squared times 703.

BMI is calculated by dividing your wight in pounds by the number of inches in height squared and then multiplying that number by 703. The normal range is 18.5 to 24.9. Anything over 30.0 is considered obese.

BMI is calculated by dividing the weight in kilograms by the square of the height in meters. Obviously you would have to multiply by a constant for pounds/inches.

First you want to take your weight in pounds times 703. Then divide that total by your height in inches squared (or your height in inches times your height in inches). There is a metric formula too, but I use this one since I'm from the states.

Here are two formulas: Weight (kg) / height (m) x height (m) or Weight (lbs) / height (inches) x height (inches) x 703
