Acetic acid is CH3COOH, and is also known as "ethanoic acid." In our kitchens, we know it as vinegar! As acids go, it's weak, but when concentrated, it can be very corrosive. In a water-free form, it's called Glacial acetic acid. Acetic acid is used in cleaning, manufacturing, and a lovely vinaigrette!
