What is the foreign service written exam like?

The foreign service written exam must be registered for in advance. It takes about three hours to complete. This test has three multiple choice sections that will test your knowledge and skills. The test is given three times per year during an eight hour window.

The foreign service has two exams. There is a written exam and oral. The oral exam is the final test. There are study guides and flashcards taht will help prepare you. You must have knowlege of foreign affairs, culture,and International affairs. Have knowledge of our Embassies and Consulares and foreign nations.
