Personally, I would say that the Python XG 50 is probably up there. You could also look at the Viper series but I really don't think they get up to the same speeds. I hear that there is one coming out next year that is going to blow them all out of the water.

The Honda CBR600 is the fastest stock motorcycle. It's been proven in tests. Honda really knows what they are doing when it comes to speed. There is no faster stock bike.

As of 2009 the bike with the fastest 1/4 mile time was the cbr600r according to Sport Rider magazine. It had a speed of 128. 8 at the line with a time of 10. 8 seconds. It also posted the fastest roll-on acceleration times with 3. 79(60-80mph) and 3. 44(80-100mph). However the zx-6r posted a better better 3. 65 (60-80mph) pull.
