reverse osmosis is the process of removal of NaCl from water by using semipermeable mambrane & applying press on it.by doing so solvent move fron high concentration to low concentration.distilled water in which water is free from impurities & bacteria.

Water that has been through reverse osmosis has fewer impurities than distilled. Distillation is the process of boiling and condensing water to remove impurities. Reverse osmosis uses pressure to forse water through a fine filter to remove impurities.

Reverse-osmosis water is high-pressure filtered; and distilled water is boiled, then steam/water-vapor re-condensed into liquid-water. Usually, Distillation produces purer water than reverse-osmosis, especially after only a single-stage.

Reverse osmosis is a means of filtering water. Distilling water is a method where the water is heated to make steam. Then the steam is run through a coil to cool it and condense it back to a liquid state (water).
