Wiccan refers specifically to what is typically thought to be witchcraft. Wiccans practice black or white magic, invoking spells, charms, potions. It is nature based. Paganism is any religion that has a pantheon of gods and not one God. Pagans are often to thought to be nature based also.

Reply by Arin (247):
Pagan is actually specific exclusion of the Aramaic (Jew/Christian/Muslim) God; not merely a word for Polytheism.  add a comment

Pagan means no such thing. The ancient Romans, Greeks, Egyptians, Aztecs, Norse and any group you care to name had no such interest in peace and harmony.  add a comment
