Communication is the act by which a number of entities communicate, exchange certain amounts of information. This requires the presence of a receptor, also called an intended recipient, which is the entity receiving the information, a transmitter, or sender, being the entity sharing the information, and a message, which is the substance of the information.

Communication is simply the act of conveying information. It can be verbally or non-verbally (non-spoken.) Communication is very important in relationships!
