Highly contagious. I had caught ring worm as a child and the only cure is through a doctor's prescription. I caught my ring worm through a kitten that was infected. Once you have an outbreak, you'll have a round bulge on the part of the body infected. It is best to stay away from pets and others until you receive antibiotics.

Ringworm is a fungal infection, and curing it requires a prescription anti-fungal medication. It is very contagious, and easily transmitted from person to person by simple physical contact. Ringworm isn't usually serious, but it should be treated by a doctor as soon as possible.

Ring worms are contagious with direct skin to skin contact. They are a fungus and can be removed with an application of a fungus treatment cream such as tinactin.

Visit a doctor for some anti-fungal cream and possibly some antibiotics; if you have pets, make sure they're cured too (take them to a vet) so you don't get reinfected.
