The ferry makes two round trips each day, leaving at 6:20 am and 2:00 pm, and returning from LaCeiba at 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 pm. The cost for one way is $21 and $42 for round trip.

The ferry runs twice a day. As of March 2008, the cost was 400 Lempira one way, which is about $US21, but the fare can increase, depending on fuel prices. Add 20 Lempira tax when departing LaCieba; add 5 Lempira from Utila. Children 6-12 years are half-price, under age 6 free, when traveling with an adult.

It is USD 15 each way, you can take the ferry on the Safeway dock in Utila and it will arrive to La Ceiba port in La Ceiba. There are currently two available ferries one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Not including taxes, an adult fare for the Utila Princess ferry is 400 Lempira. With an adult, children under 6 travel free and children 6-12 travel for half price.
