Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is the virus that is responsible for genital warts. Sometimes, when people are infected with HPV, they don't even know and that makes transmission quite easy. Other times, infection with the virus will manifest itself with warts, or fleshy bumps on the genitals.

HPV (Human paillomavirus) is a virus that creates multiple systems and diseases depending which HPV strain you get. However several of the HPV strains can/do and will create venereal warts in certain individuals.
