What is the connection between the civilization of Atlantis and Britain today?

Geoarchaeologist Eberhard Zangger believes that Troy was Atlantis. Now the Britons(who were the celtic people who lived in modern day england and Wales according to Geoffery of Monmouth were decended from survivors of Troy. So that would mean that if Troy was Atlantis then the Welsh and Romans are decendants of Atlantis. But there is no way to know.

The only connection between Atlantis and Briton is the writings of Plato and the rise of the popularity of the story of Atlantis in the 1800s.

There is no connection between Atlantis and modern Britain,as Atlantis is fictional. There has never been any solid evidence that such a place ever existed. It was created by Plato to illustrate a point in a philosophical debate.
