I have always used Friskies wet food cause it's cheaper and since wet food shouldn't make up the majority of their diet it won't hurt them. If a kitten is looking underweight it's perfect to help them gain some back. But it you're looking for what the vet will like, a more expensive brand is better.

If you are going to give your kitten wet food make sure it's specifically for kittens. You could just put water on the dry kitten food and feed them that.

Blue buffalo is one of the best it has no meat biproducts, no corn, and thier wilderness brand has no grains either. They can be kind of expensive thow. If you want a good kitten food for a better price you should try fancy feast, meow mix, purina, or friskies.
