Calla lilies are neither lilies nor are they callas, though they are related to them. You can buy sections of the root and plant them in a rich, moist soil and, provided they don't get more than lightly frosted, they will spread and grow easily, they are basically swamp plants.

First calla lilies must be bought from an good nurser, budded plants should not be bought, It should be planted in red soil with good manure mixed with the red soil.
