I find that storing beans in the freezer and taking out a few days worth works well. Any grinder will do and use cold, filtered water when brewing.

You should get a separate grinder and coffee maker. You can store the coffee the cupboard and you should only grind the coffee you need and leave the rest of it. The coffee will stay much fresher this way.
