Connect the power cord and plug the dvd player into the wall. Connect the DVD player to your television set using the included video cables ( you may need to refer to the user manual of the dvd player and/or tv to do this). Unless you're connecting separate audio equipment, that's it.

I would imagine its simply using the av or component cables to plug into your TV or input device. The DVD player doesn't change how it plays or its setup in any particular position.

First off you will want to examine your TV and locate the audio and video plugs. Commonly the plugs are indicated by three colors lined up either horizontally or vertically : yellow, white and red. After locating the plugs on your TV match them up with the ones from your DVD player.

First, you would need all the right cables and a power outlet. Make sure to get a cable that fits both your dvd player and the source to view it, such as a televison. Usually, an AV cable is a good connection

The best way to go about hooking up a DVD player is running the cables behind or along the wall under the mount so wires are out of the way.

You have to make the correct connections. For a normal dvd player, there is the basic RCA connection (red, white, yellow cables). Plug them into the out on the dvd player and the in on the tv. If it's a HD dvd player, connection the component cables the same way (blue, green, red).
