What is the best way to get rid of a cobweb?

The easiest way is to sweep the cob web and spider up lightly with a broom or duster and then shake it off outside. If you do this with a light hand, the cobweb will be gone and the spider will be on it's way to finding a new place to put it's web outside of your home.

Cobwebs can be so hard to reach, especially in rooms with high ceilings. I have found wrapping a towel around my broom & securing with a rubber band is a nice way to remove them. The towel usually catches the dust instead of throwing it around my house. I also use the attachments on my vaccuum when it will reach.
