There are several amazing tasting ways to prepare salmon. Among the best are seasoning with butter and lemon pepper and either frying or baking it. Also, salmon can be barbecued or added to pasta for a more flavorful appeal. It can be cooked and placed on bread as a sandwich or added to a salad, both of which are delicious.
My recipe for cooking salmon is to rub it down with some oliver oil, then season it with salt and pepper, sometimes I use lemon-pepper. Then I place it on aluminum foil, put some slices of lemon and orange on top and seal the aluminum foil. Cook on 350 degrees for about 20 minutes until it flakes.
Here is a great way. Place fish on aluminum foil, rub with a mix of lemon pepper, salt, olive oil, and Worcestershire sauce. Then add a few slices of Cara-Cara Oranges, and 2 chunks of pineapple. Seal it, bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes (until flaky) and Enjoy!!
Marinate in olive oil with some thyme, wild basil and rosemary, add onions, a dash of balsamic and vinegar or lemon is optional to enhance flavours, after some 10 mins on a pan, add white wine and oven all for 20 mins at 350 ;-)
My personal favorite way to cook salmon is to grill it. Grilled salmon just has that fresh, delicious taste. First, marinate the salmon in some vegtable oil and lemon juice. Then, grill it on either a gas or charcoal grill for about ten to fifteen minutes. Top with salt and pepper and enjoy!
Remove the head, smear the salmon with a little butter over the skin and wrap in tin foil. Cook slowly for thirty to forty five minutes in a low oven. Check salmon with a skewer after twenty minutes to make sure the salmon is not over cooking, when tender salmon is done.
There are several ways to cook salmon. You can bake in a dutch over with some marinade in the over. You can skillet it on the stove with oil. You can even wrap it really well in some foil with oil and put it in the dishwasher while you do a load. You can also BBQ it.
I like to roast mine on a bed of fennel and beetroot a little lemon juice and black balsamic just underneath salmon so that the acidic juices will not cook the salmon itself, cover in foil and cook on med heat for around 25-30 minutes, use juice for acidic sauce.
