There are many cleaners available to clean tarnished brass. There is a product called, Brasso. This cleaner can be purchased at places like Home Depot or Lowes. Also, check a store that sells Brass. They always have cleaners available for purchase. Remember, always be sure to wear gloves when working with cleaners.

You need to use some metal polish. Look for some that is safe to use on brass. Then you simply apply some with a soft cloth and buff it clean.

Place the brass in a container that will hold it. Pour in 1/2 cup white vinegar, 1 Tbls. salt and enough hot water to cover brass, let soak 15 -5 20 minutes. Use soap pad and warm water gently rub brass. Rinse with warm water and towel dry.

Tarnish is easy to get rid of. Buy a good metal cleaner, sometimes it will state on the bottle that it is for brass/copper. You then apply the cleaner to tarnished item with a soft cloth. Let it dry and then buff off with another clean cloth to a shine.
