If you want to ask this girl out on a date, you have to come to terms with the fact that she may decline your offer. There's no absolutely reliable method of asking out a girl without getting rejected. You can certainly try being warm, friendly, respctful, easy-going, and funny, in the process but these are still no guarantees.

Build a relationship with the girl first. Talk to her one the phone several times. Make her your friend. Ask about her day. Get her to talk about herself. Ask questions about her life. She will think you are great conversationalist. Soon she'll want to spend more time with you.
