The answer to this question really depends on what you are going to use the truck for an how much you have to spend. If you want a truck for hauling but you are on a budget you need to get a smaller truck that gets good gas mileage. Be specific about what you will use the truck for.

American best pickup truck is 2008 Dodge Dakota If you want a truck with lots of power, go with a Ford F-350 . If you want a nice sports truck, or a truck that can go fast, go with a Dodge Dakota. They're actually faster than a lot of cars, and they accelerate like no other

American trucks in general are superior. My favorite truck is the Chevy Silverado. It has plenty of room in the bed, and it never rusts out. It gets decent gas mileage for such a large car, too. The 4-wheel drive is very reliable, it's great to use in the snow!

I'm looking for an F-150 right ow (first car), but honestly there are a lot of aspects to a good truck. When it comes to engine i believe Chevy to be better but overall i think the F-series was built on a stronger base. Just way all the options out.

Right now I would have to say the Ford F series when it comes to pickups. My Dad's last pickup was a F-250 Super Duty and it was a good farm truck that did a variety of heavy tasks. It also rode reasonably well. Ford has not needed a bailout so hopefully their warranty would be dependable.

Well..that's a loaded question. I'm sure you've received a thousand different answers. honestly...the best truck depends on who you ask. I say..it depends what it will be used for. A light duty truck....a ford should be fine. if you want a heavy duty truck go with GMC or TOYOTA for sure. great trucks
