Yes chihuahua dogs catch asthama from humans. In a way it is a boon to human being as it is used to cure human asthama. But it is also heard that the dogs asthama also can be cured. They are very much human friendly and good to have one at home.

It really depends on what environment they are in if they are out side it could be the allergies or if they are inside it might be there closed environment. But most of the time they are well kept dogs and they really don't have asthma that often. They are really good pet to keep inside though.

No. Asthma at dogs is kind of a rare case. My dad is a vet and said that in his entire carrer never had a chihuahua with asthma

You will need to take it to the vet, ask the vet. Have the vet check the dogs out to see if it does have it. The vet will be able to tell you, if the dogs can get it or not. Always ask questions if you have any questions about the dog.
