High moisture content is needed to keep the feces wet inside the cat and fiber is needed to regulate the cat. Read the labels on her cat food to make sure she is getting what she needs to be regular. Make sure she has plenty of water to drink.

A constipated cat should be fed warm milk and butter and plenty of water with gentle massage. If the condition doesn't improve within 2 days a veterinarian should be consulted.

make sure it isn't going womewhere else they will do that sometimes if you feel it is a health problem hurry to the vet.

Constipation in cats is common. First, make sure the problem is not because she won't use the litter box by cleaning it out and putting fresh litter in it. You can also give her a little bit of petrolium jelly to help move things along.
