The absolute best place to look for plus sized wedding gowns would be online. You can search for stores in your area which carry plus sized gowns, they may be more abundant in certain stores.

I would try looking at David's Bridal. They have a very wide range of styles and sizes, and they are happy to order samples of the dresses you can't find in the store. They may have a reputation for making cheap dresses, but the dresses I've seen have been stunning.
