Dermablend comes highly recommended by many people. It can be found at the drugstore and can be used daily. Depending on your skin tone, this may not work the best, so try several brands to find the one that works best for your skin type.

The best thing to do is treat them. Vitiman E works excllent. As well as neosporin. Apply everynight before bed and you will see results in as soon as a week. the best way to cover up during the day is a makeup called dermablend. It is very thick and works great.

Some won't be covered no matter how much makeup you use. Try foundation and concealer a shade lighter then your usual just for that area to see if it helps.

A moisturizer with a slight tanning agent in it will help cover slightly and make you feel better. A foundation that is near your own skin tone is the best to go for. Dab with some finishing powder women use for their face.

It depends where the scar is. If the scar is on your face, you can cover it up with concealer or some other makeup. If it is on another part of your body, you can cover it up with clothing or accessories. You could learn to accept the scar and be happy with your appearance.

I personally use makeup to cover up scars. Liquid cover up by Covergirl works very well too. And, it also depends on where the scar is, if it is somewhere that can be covered up by clothes, I would do that. For example, where long sleeves and pants.

The whole bare minerals collection really works well for me for covering up. When you're at home and not going out though, try "prefer on" it's by the makers of "head on" it really helped my scars fade after my Surgery!

I use lots of pancake makeup and let it dry. Then I apply 2 more layers so that there is a built-up. At the end, I put power on my face to fixate.
