How can I cover acne scars?

I am glad to have gotten rid of the acne but now I am left with scars.

Using a concealer under your foundation will help to even out the skin tone and cover the scars. Use oil-free and hypoallergenic products. Dermabrasion is a more permanent answer to removing scars.

If the scars aren't too bad a good make up can hide them. With deeper scars a dermatologist might have to "peel your skin." Laser treatments have good results in getting rid of scars. Talk with your doctor and see what options are open to you. He knows your skin type and amount of scarring and can direct you best.

There are laser treatments and othr things you can do to elliminate the scars or make them less noticeable. your dermatologist should be able to help you find something that will work. If all else fails there's always a good concealer and make up.

Covering acne scars is as easy as putting on a lot of concealer. You won't be able to perfect the scars unless you visit a dermatologist. Make sure you are completely done with acne as you don't want to pay to have them removed multiple times.

To try removing the acne scars, use a scar treatment cream (an example is Mederma) on your scars. While waiting for the cream to work, use a good liquid foundation makeup to camoflauge your acne scars.

You should use a mask to help fade them. Use a mask that is labeled for age spots. It will work fine on acne scars.

Eat lots of raw fresh fruits and vegetables. Especially berries and young tender leafy green vegetables are the best choices. They contain the nutrients your body need. Minimize the consumption of rich fatty foods. Drink enough water and sleep enough. It takes a little long to get rid of the scars.
