Oster is a consistant cooker, with quick, even results every time. I recieved my cooker second hand, and although it appeared to have been through quite a beating, it performed perfectly for years and years. the casing and handles are relitively heat proof, the large easy to read buttom is simple to operate, and it is a breeze to clean.

I'd have to say that the best rice cookers are made by Zojirushi. They are easily over $100 but give you several more options than a typical rice cooker.

The Aroma 16 cup rice cooker is one of the nicest cookers around! This rice cooker had special digital functions for white rice, brown rice, steam and much more. You can cook anywhere from 4 to cups in no time with this. It also have a programmable feature so you can program it to start at a certain time.

I personally love using the Sanyo ECJ-D55S style rice cooker. It comes with many of the features you would normally associate with top of the line rice cookers, but at a more affordable price. Easy to use and a great time saver by being able to cook your entire diner with it. You'll be amazed on the recipes you'll discover.
